For the first time, world famous gaming peripherals manufacturer RAZER is going to arrange a Gaming Tournament in occasion to their operation launching inBangladesh. The launching ceremony- cum- Press Conference was attended among others by Mr. Bashitul Islam, MD (Umbrella Management); Mr. Foyez (Country Representative, RAZER) and Mr. X from Computer Source Limited.
In recent years, gaming sectors has grown at an enormous rate in Bangladesh, leaving opportunities for other related businesses to gaming to development and expand simultaneously. Due to this growth, many individuals and corporate have also emerged rapidly. But unfortunately this has led to unorganized management overall the industry, where the gamers and the peripherals manufacturers have had no particular platform to conduct their activities to their satisfaction.
To bring a change to the current gaming industry in Bangladesh, four young entrepreneurs, namely, Md. Shariful Islam, as Technical Manager; M. Bashitul Islam, as Managing Director; Abid Ashraf Minar as Manager (Finance and HR) and Kazi Moitry as Operations Manager started Umbrella Management with a vision to revolutionize the Gaming Industry in Bangladesh. Basically, to bring the gamers and the manufacturers less than one “umbrella” is the main concept of “Umbrella Management”, said Mr. Bashitul Islam, the MD.
On the next 22, 23 and 24 December, Umbrella Management is going to organize “Bangladesh Cyber Gaming Festival 2011” Academia, the British Council Exam Centre has been selected as the event venue where approximately 500 gamers will be attending the contest. The International Sponsor of this contest is RAZER and Computer Source Limited is going to provide the Technical Supports. KASPERSKY is the Gold Partner of this event and Trendnet is the Network Partner. FIFA 2011, Need for Speed Most Wanted, Call of Duty Modern Warfare, Counter Strike Source, and Warcraft DotA are the selected games for the contest.
